Welcome to SUNRISE Kindergarten!
The first English kindergarten in Carinthia offers children the possibility to "experience" the English language in a free, relaxed and playful atmosphere. For this, it is of great importance that the children are challenged according to their level of development and that they are not put under any pressure. Our motto: "Learning by Doing"
In a caring atmosphere, children can develop their trust in other children and adults as well as in their own abilities. It is important for our whole team that we respect each child’s individual personality, to meet them with care and to accompany them helpfully on their route of development.
About us
Sunrise kindergarten was founded in 1995 by Mrs. Burgi Goldbrunner (teacher). After starting with 15 children, the demand was soon so great that, in 2000, a second group could be opened. At the moment (2011), we have two groups with 50 children altogether.
Sunrise kindergarten is a non–profit organisation and is subsidised by the relevant departments of the city and state.
